THE CHALLENGE

Supply delays negatively impact the provision of quality healthcare as tracking orders can be difficult once submitted and extensive time is spent on follow-ups. Paper generation occurs throughout the process which further increases handling requirements. The challenge was to reduce the medical supply delays which result in a lack of insight to follow up on and expedite orders.
